Waking up in another time zone
Teeth falling out
Dreams scattered on papers in a mansion
Friends see a ghost in the mist upstairs
Shooting with fingers, outnumbered, surrounded
Subway running frozen in the tunnel
In the milky dawn, on a dark coast,
A crowd is still on the edge of abyss
In the handwritten log of a video-rental
An invisible desert was invented
The fight was only for a movie they recorded
The main character is chosen by lot
Wearing chains instead of a tie, I’m like a lifeless doll
Crawling on all fours in the black snow of Warsaw
And here we go
Don’t let me sleep out on your stairs
Don’t let me fall for someone else
Don’t let my heart turn to stone
In your eyes baby, I can see the storm
Part II.
Why does my life feel like your life
Why does high life feel like low life
Why does the right seem like the left
Why does the future seem like the past
Slow poetry is made in the streets,
While two becomes one in the sheets
Feeling the need to leave a mark,
I’m searching for words to make it right
We made love, we made art
In your stories, we played every part
When you’re rhyming, when you reason
You will change with every season
We made love, we made art
In your stories, we played every part
When you’re rhyming, when you reason
You will change with every season
We made love, we made art
In your stories, we played every part
When you’re rhyming, when you reason
You will change, you’ll change every season
